Lisa Adshead

Therapist

Massage Therapist/Reiki Practitioner

Lisa qualified in Swedish Massage in 1998 and was attuned to Reiki in 2000 and 2001. Lisa has also trained in Spiritual healing with the NFSH and the Community Healing Project. Massage allows us to experience both the benefits of touch - deep relaxation and feeling cared for and the benefits of soft tissue manipulation. Unexpressed emotion is often held as tension in the body, affecting our ability to move freely and feel fully, massage can soften and gently release this. In addition, massage can also give us the time and space to turn our attention inwards, to reflect on situations and become aware of our needs. Lisa’s aim is to create a nurturing space and work intuitively with each individual.

“I found Lisa’s Reiki highly relaxing and peaceful. It was the perfect preparation for a deep massage that was both comfortable and therapeutic. It left me feeling wonderfully supple and energised”.

Jenny Henry

Therapist

Jenny is a experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist. She takes a holistic approach to her treatment, utilising postural assessment, movement analysis and diagnostic tests to inform a whole body treatment approach. She uses a combination of soft tissue and joint mobilisation with acupuncture for pain relief and to facilitate correct movement patterns. Jenny believes strongly in education, ensuring the client goes away with a thorough understanding of their symptoms and how to manage them through prescriptive exercises and life style changes.
Whether you are hoping to manage a long term health condition or return to sport after injury Jenny will be happy to help.

"Jenny is gifted.  She is warm, highly qualified yet humble.  She seems to see through the skin and has an uncanny knack for going straight to the centre of the niggle!  The irritated muscle argues and resigns its battle after massage, an appropriately placed needle or two and/or facia release.   I couldn’t recommend her more highly." - Ellie

Amanda Price

Therapist

Sound Healer Practitioner

Amanda trained with the College of Sound Healing. She was inspired to explore sound healing after caring for her mother who was suffering from dementia. Sound healing and music calmed her and helped her connect to herself as the world around her fragmented.
Sound is a gentle, yet powerful healing tool. Sound vibrations positively affect the nervous system, and can reduce stress, release grief, anxiety, and depression by clearing blockages to restore a sense of balance and well-being.
Amanda uses a combination of voice and musical instruments during a sound healing therapy session, bathing clients in healing and rejuvenating sound waves. Healing sessions can be practised either individually in couples or small groups depending on the needs of the clients. She brings intuitive understanding, beauty, and empathy to all her sessions.

“I have found Amanda to be totally focused when giving her wonderful sound healings. I
enter deep state of relaxation during my sessions with her, that leave me feeling tranquil
for a long time afterwards. Thank you Amanda." - Christine
